I am an animal rescuer.
I will save lives. I will lose lives.
I will make wise decisions.I will make mistakes.
I will be surrounded by people who understand what I do and how I feel.
I will be criticized by those who do not understand.
I will rejoice when each homeless huggable finds a new forever family.
I will suffer through days when I cannot get those lost out of my mind.

Furrever Homes needed

THESE ARE SOME KITTIES THAT WE HAVE SAVED THIS PAST YEAR, BUT HAVE NOT FOUND RESCUE, OR HOMES.  AS YOU CAN SEE, THEY ARE NOT CUTE, CUDDLY LITTLE KITTENS.

THE BONUS OF ADOPTING OR RESCUING AN ADULT CAT, IS THAT THEY HAVE FULLY DEVELOPED THEIR PERSONALITIES, AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE GETTING.

THESE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITES!!!  CAN YOU FIND ROOM FOR EVEN ONE OF THESE SPECIAL KITTIES?  HELP ME FIND A PLACE FOR THEM, AS THEY TOO DESERVE A LOVING HOME....

HELP US FIND HOMES FOR THESE KITTIES,SO WE CAN MAKE ROOM FOR THE UPCOMING KITTEN SEASON.

AND WE NEED $$$ TO CONTINUE OUR WORK.!!!! NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL...

TRANSPORT N.E. PROVIDED!!!

PIC ONE
CAYENNE

Neutered domestic orange marmalade male, Floyd County AC rescue (approx 3 yrs)
Cayenne is the almost human in his expression of affection. He loves to be loved to the point you almost have to peel him off of you. He deserves a home where he has someone who feels mutually about him and wants all that this cat has to offer in the frontal bear hugs. He is highly active and acrobatic. Once he lept onto his foster's chest from a vanity, expecting and knowing he would be caught in an embrace. Having just been neutered, his hormones are still adjusting and he should to be supervised with when he is with other cats, as far as his capacity to bully others while his body chemistry undergoes change. Fully vetted and negative on FL/FIV.
PIC TWO
CELIA
Spayed domestic gray and white female (approx 1.5 yrs), Murray AC rescue
Celia was a nursing mother to six kittens who was rescued, along with her kittens, from Murray County AC. She was a wonderful mother to her kittens, and has maintained the sweet spirit she showed them. She cohabitates well with other cats in multiple-cat situations. She has been fostered with 2 other females and one male. Celia likes to greet you, especially at feeding time, with lots of voice! Sweet little lady who will adapt well to any situation. Fully vetted and negative on FL/FIV.

PIC THREE
GRACE
Spayed domesic calico adult female (approx 8 years), petite size
Grace was discovered as a cat who had been abandoned at a racetrack near Chicago after racing season had ended. Her rescuer found a temporary foster to take her in, and see that she was well-loved and cared for. She has a spicy, saucy personality.-:) Grace loves human affection. She can be a bit fussy with other cats, but can live with other cats without it being a huge deal. In other words, she would prefer to be the only cat, but she doesn't consider it a deal breaker to have to live with others..... Grace loves to perform the figure 8 pattern when she comes to you for affection. "Perky and on sassy side" best describe Miss Grace. Fully vetted and negative on FL/FIV.

PIC FOUR
MARDI
SHE IS ONLY ABOUT 10 MONTHS OLD AND SPAYED.  SHE CAME FROM MURRAY COUNTY AC AND HAS BEEN IN MY CARE SINCE JULY.
She was very shy and hid for quite a time but, now she loves pets and has come out of her shell.  NOW SHE SLEEPS NIGHTLY ON THE CORNER OF MY BED AND APPRECIATES ANY ATTENTION SHE GETS.  She gets along with the others, and is a stocky built girl with very soft fur. She also is calm with the other kitties and would be fine in a multi cat household.  I named her Mardi after the Mardi Gras because of her mask. Fully vetted and negative for FIV-FELV.

PIC FIVE
TABITHA 2 years old domestic short hair, spayed, grey tabby, with gorgeous eyes that look like they have eyeliner on them
She was a nursing mom, that also was a surrogate to several orphan kittens.  Now it is time Tabitha had her own place.  She is a petite girl, that loves to rub her face all over you to show you how much she loves you, purring all the while.  Whoever get Tabitha, will be getting a little jewel.

PIC SIX
RUSTY

Neutered, male orange and white, long hair male about 2 years old.
He has an affliction that can hardly be seen, a tilted head.  the vet said he must have had an illness when he was a kitten, that caused some neurological damage.  That does not stop him though.  He is a regular cat that loves to do cat things, and even though occasionally he falls, because he misjudged a narrow ledge, it does not get him down.  He was a terrible sight in the beginning, all skinny, and with scraggly hair.  Now he has a full grown beautiful fur coat, with a big fluffy tail, and is gorgeous.  He is also very grateful that he knows where his next meal is coming from.

PIC SEVEN
LUNA
Former bottle baby that gives 100's of kisses daily.  She is friendly and calm, and works well in a multi-cat home.  All the kitties like her, and she likes them, but she is most in love with her human companions.  Luna has waited a long time to have a furever home.  Fully vetted and neg. for FIV-FELV  1.5 years and a tiny girl. I have had her since she was born.

PIC EIGHT
MADISON
A gorgeous swirl tabby boy  with the most pretty swirl markings.  Madison is about 2.5 years old, and is laid back. He negotiates fine with other cats, but would most prefer to be homed with fewer cats, or to be your one an only, as he loves attention, and will crawl up on your lap, or chest, when no other cats are around, to get pets.  He is somewhat of a shy guy, but he is not a wuss. Fully vetted and neg. for FIV-FELV.  HE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR OVER A YEAR FOR HIS HOME.

PIC NINE
MAMA MIA blue tabby

She was so skinny when I first got her, that she could not be spayed. She had 4 kittens, that have all been placed. Now this sweet girl needs a home. fully vetted and with a sweet personality, she will be a fine addition to anyone's home. Fully vetted Neg. for FIV-FELV

PIC TEN
VALLEY GIRL Tabby

She is an old soul, laid back and very calm, fine in a multi cat home. Valley girl has a splash of red on her head, hence her name.  Almost 1.5 years and fully vetted NEG for FIV-FELV.

PIC ELEVEN
ROMEO (MR. TUBBS) Tuxedo boy
He is a calm kitty that loves cats and people.  He was so starved when I got him, that I think he eats too much, because he is afraid it will be his last meal.  He is overweight and needs to be in a home where they can regulate his food instead of free feeding. a head butter and loves his humans. fully vetted NEG for FIV-FELV

PIC 12
CLEOPATRA tabby girl

The last kitty saved from Murray before Christmas  She was turned in on Christmas Eve.  Can you imagine what kind of person could do that?  A Volunteer at the shelter went by her cage, and she reached out to her.  So she decided to not let her die, and take her home to foster. She says that she is sooo sweet.

PIC 13
BEAUTY

Long haired kitty who is being tormented by the other cats in her foster home. She definitely needs placement asap.  she is 5 years old and healthy, being fostered in Chatsworth.

PIC 14
TERESA Grey girl

My little clown.  Oh I love Teresa.  she makes me laugh with her antics.  She is very high energy and I let her do whatever she wants.  she loves to get in cabinets and climb high.  I think she has some oriental in her. Fully vetted neg. for FIV-FELV

PIC 15
SMOKEY tuxedo boy
Smokey is about a year old and playful.  He is an unusual color, a tuxedo with black on grey undercoat. He loves to give you face rubs and sleep on your bed. Gets along with other cats. Fully vetted. NEG for FIV-FELV
