FROM FERAL TO FABULOUS!!!
It is such a pleasure to see a once terrified kitty, learn to trust. It always amazes me. What goes on in their head, and what changes their mind? I do know it takes patience, and a connection. The connection, I think is the most important thing. They decide, but what makes that happen? I wish I knew the answer, so that I could repeat the process, with the next scared kitty that comes my way. Unfortunately, there is no real answer. Every case is different, and there are no rules. That is where the patience comes in.
SYDNEY AKA BIG MAC
He is a gorgeous Mackerel tabby that was trapped as a kitten from a feral colony, and just would not respond to being domesticated. I was about to give up on him, when I got a message from his foster, that he had made a big turnaround! He finally decided to like us! He definitely made the decision on his own, and has become a very loving boy!
In the meantime, he has also become quite big and beautiful! He likes his kitty and doggie friends, and loves his human. Now all he needs is that perfect forever home! Sydney is about a year old and fully vetted. He deserves to have an indoor home, where he will be safe for the rest of his life.
IS BIG MAC THE ONE FOR YOU????
