Urgent needs in Jackson County

We have some good news out of Jackson County Animal Shelter in Commerce GA, Chuck was adopted! Thank you for your help!


Now we have new needs. There are seven holdovers and 2 new kitties we need homes for. This is urgent as kitten season is here and that means babies will be arriving because people have not gotten the message to spay and neuter! 


On top of the list is Maggie and Mo. These two have been here the longest and are the most vulnerable.  They are sponsored and therefore FREE .  

Maggie is a beautiful 3 year old calico. She has wonderful coloring and green eyes. She get along good with other animals and LOVES people! She has been spayed and has been FIV tested and her shots are up to date. She is ready to go home with you today.

Mo is two years old. He is a lovely grey tabby. He is so sweet. He likes people, he gets along with the other cats. He has already been neutered and FIV tested and has all his shots. He is waiting on you to come get him.






Next we have Baby. Baby is a white boy that lived outside all winter so he is having to get used to being inside. he is only a year old. He is sweet, petable and good with the other cats. Look at his eyes! So open and clear.


Glenda is a friendly, loving cat. She is grey and big green eyes. What a sweetheart she is. 


Oreo is a special case. He is a sweet, 2 years old boy. He has been neutered.He broke his rear right tibia and it was splinted. His owners just dropped him off because it was too much trouble to keep him quiet.  


Rusty is an orange buff that is still a little shy but he does like being petted.


Sinebad is a beautiful Siamese mix boy, white with silver and china blue eyes! He loves to be petted and gets along well with the other kitties.


Phyllis is one of the two new cats. She is a calico that loves people. She is very people oriented , sweet and loves to be held. 


Squeaky is a big orange and white boy. There is a lot of him to love and he gives a lot of love! He is  neutered, great with the other cats,gorgeous eyes and very friendly. His problem? His owners had a baby and decided to get rid of their furbaby!

RESCUE FRIENDLY AND EASILY VETTED.  TRANSPORT HELP MAY BE AVAILABLE!  

No GA license needed!   All animals must be vetted prior to leaving the facility.

Adoption/rescue fee includes spay/neuter, age appropriates shots, deworming, HW test and Microchip.  Fee is $80.
